Meet Maggie Edwards

Realtor for Benchmark Realty who went from behind the scenes assistant to business partner to business leader!

Meet Maggie Edwards, a realtor with Benchmark Realty! Maggie is a Nashville native who can’t imagine living anywhere else! She is married to her college sweetheart, Kevin and has two precious children. After going through the home buying process in 2013, Maggie realized she had fallen in love with the greater Nashville real estate market because she continued to feverishly look at listings even after moving into their new home. 

In 2014, she started her real estate career by assisting her stepdad, Charlie Simms, a 30 year veteran of the real estate industry. Charlie’s business grew exponentially with Maggie working behind the scenes. So much so, that Maggie quickly became an equal partner in the business and has built it along with Charlie for the last 10 years. 

Maggie believes in building wealth and establishing financial freedom regardless of what stage of life you are in. She loves to assist clients in building wealth by owning real estate, and she loves to see her buyers make their new house a home. She is honored to walk alongside clients as major life events cause them to need to buy or sell.

Maggie decided to get branding photos because this year is a year of growth and changes and her business is booming! She wanted a fresh look for her photos because she has rebranded her business and restructured what her daily work life looks like. “During the shoot, I felt great and relaxed. We laughed a lot and that made it so enjoyable and fun. It was obvious after Jessica showed me one quick preview on the back of her camera, that even after 5 minutes, we had already accomplished more than I was hoping for. After the shoot, I immediately felt tempted to book a second round! We had so much fun and got great shots! Jessica makes these photoshoots feel so natural. She is a pro at boosting your confidence. I can't wait to have an excuse to do it again!”
