CEO Branding and Retreat Photos

Meet Amy Lykosh, CEO of Workplace Prayer. She is also an avid reader, writer, publisher, and podcaster!

Amy has five boys, ages 21 to 9. Before her current job, she worked part time as a book reviewer and reviewed 2018 books in 2018. (She actually read 365 of them!)  She went to state in four varsity sports in high school: cross country, swimming, tennis, and track. She loves to write, and her publishing house Makarios Press put out 19 books last year. In 2022 she walked 200 miles of the Portuguese Coastal Camino in 10 days ... half a million steps, all by herself!

Amy is the CEO of Workplace Prayer, an organization dedicated to praying for businesses and teaching people to pray.  For the last three years, it has been Amy’s privilege to pray for businesses, and to raise up people to pray more effectively. She and her business partner Bob Perry have team members from around the globe, and it is their privilege to pray with and for their clients.

Amy deeply believes prayer works! She believes every business needs prayer, but most people feel completely unempowered to pray. So we  put it in the box of "things we should do, but don't, and so feel guilty." Or we pray boring, rote prayers. Three days after Bob Perry started praying for her family's business, she texted at 11pm and said, "Bob we've had 10 answered prayers TODAY." He texted back: "Let's go for a dozen." She couldn't believe it. Who BELIEVES that prayer works ... with that much confidence? It was an entirely new perspective on prayer. Amy wants to change the narrative on prayer worldwide: to bring prayer into the workplace, but mostly bring effective prayer to believers everywhere.

Amy knew it was time for new photos because she was about to host a big event. Bob's first clients were planning a community-wide prayer meeting that had been put off for three years. She and Bob decided to  plan a live event around the prayer meeting. With about 1/3 of their clients, and 2/3 of their  team coming together for the event, she wanted to capture their beloved faces.

Here’s what Amy had to say about her experience with JMP:

She felt “Fabulous! Our web designer said, ‘I could FEEL the Holy Spirit in these images.’  EXACTLY what we hoped for.”
